| East Tech is currently both a OEM and a ODM
manufacturer. The Group has 2 vertically integrated manufacturing facilities, one in
Malaysia and another in China. These two facilities are involved in the major processes
that lead to the production of quality sound, ie. sound source, speaker drivers and
speaker systems. The beauty of vertical integration is the opportunity to benefit from the
economies of scale and synergy in designing and manufacturing, and also to
minimize transportation and warehousing costs. The Malaysian operations primarily handle the
production of acoustic products at the earlier stages of their life cycle while the
operations in China focus on acoustic products at the mature stage of their product life
cycle. |

| The Group has 7 marketing teams that are
strategically located around the globe. The marketing teams work closely with the D&D
division on the design of new products. Their commitment to product D&D, product
engineering, quality standards, quick response delivery, customers' service and compliance
has earned the Group numerous commendations such as "Vendor of the Year" and

CORPORATE LOGO
|
Rational |
The logo comprises connected loops taking the shape
of a globe. It describes EASTECH as a global organisation that is made up of several
companies. Its three loops represent the group's three core businesses - speaker
transducers, speaker boxes and electronics. Joined at the source, the loops move outwards
to signify diversification, dynamism and growth.
Precise angles at which the loops intersect and the well-measured distance between them
reflect a disciplined environment where a culture of quality and reliability thrives. |
